Cruse Dog Park

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board, along with the Citizens Dog Park Committee. The Park Board is providing the land, valued at $80,000, plus utility costs for the project, estimated at $20,000. The Dog Park Committee is charged with raising funds for fencing and other amenities. The first phase of the project, in order to actually open the facility, needs funding of $150,000. The Dog Park project received a $75,000.00 donation from the Cruse Trust in the summer of 2005 and a $60,000.00 additional donation from the same Trust in the summer of 2006.

It is planned to be opened in late 2007 or early 2008. This dog park will be the best place for you to bring your dogs to socialise. Be sure to go down there for a look at the next hang out place for your dog.
